  2. China is a country located in East Asia.

  1. Beijing is the sprawling capital of the People’s Republic of China.
  2. Beijing is the world’s most populous capital city.
  3. This city consists of over 21 million residents living.
  4. Total area of Beijing is 4,567 square km (1,763 square miles).
  5. Beijing city is located in Northern China.
  6. It’s old name was Peking. This name was imposed by occupying Japanese in year 1937.
  7. In 1945 the Nationalist Government restored the name “Beiping” .Now it is popular for its name Beijing.
